Parabola Fits
Parabola-fit workflows are part of the spectroscopy toolset for datasets where a fitted curve is more informative than the raw trace alone.
Purpose
Use parabola fits when you want to extract a compact fitted description from spectroscopy data and compare fitted behaviour across several entries.
Typical workflow
A common pattern is:
- Open one or more spectroscopy traces.
- Inspect them in the spectroscopy popup or comparison workflow.
- Apply the relevant fit operation.
- Export the resulting plot or use it alongside the rest of the spectroscopy analysis.
